Barters Community Farm Project was created to bring together individuals and families seeking a life rooted in nature, community, and self-reliance. Our mission is to grow organic food, raise animals using regenerative methods, and build a like-minded community focused on food security and independence from the mainstream.

Our community run farm operates entirely independent from the mainstream systems, grounded in the principles of Land, Independence and Community. This project aims to achieve food security, independence and financial stability. Every aspect of the project will either be funded by us (the direct team) or our partnerships/investors or our private members club, creating a self-sufficient ecosystem where resources, labour and capital are shared within our direct community.

By focusing on collective efforts and mutual support, we seek to create a resilient agricultural, community led, independent model that thrives without reliance on conventional markets or external funding. 

 

WHY? To bring the essence of Bartering back, build food security, a like-minded community and independence from the mainstream, to live a fulfilling life connected to the land!

 

WHAT? A community run farm that operates around Bartering within its team & local community, neighbors, the  wider network and our membership members.

 

HOW? Through Land, Community and Bartering we will create an independent, fulfilling and nourishing way of living free from the mainstream, via our own land, water, energy and most importantly food!

 

We are deeply committed to providing a sustainable, regenerative, and community-based solution for local food production. Our vision focuses on growing food and raising animals in a way that is healthy for all, the environment, animals and ultimately humans. This is also socially enriching. This means eliminating any use of harsh chemicals and avoids outdated industrial farming methods that harm ecosystems, environment and us, (the consumer) all while creating a space where community connections can flourish.

 

At the heart of our approach is a dedication to enhancing biodiversity, improving soil fertility, and creating an environment where both people and nature can thrive in harmony. By embracing Regenerative Agriculture, we aim to restore the land and leave the earth healthier for future generations. We believe that sustainable agriculture is more than just a method of growing food and raising animals — it’s a pathway to nurturing the mind, body, and soul. Beyond food production, our project is designed to be a gathering place for people to come together, share knowledge, and build meaningful relationships, in order to reconnect with nature.
